Critical to the project was the installation of a new sprinkler system, significantly bolstering the building’s fire safety measures. Additionally, the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems were overhauled to meet current regulations, improving energy efficiency and overall performance.

As principal design consultants, Sabbadin Corti oversaw the entire project, from design development to the coordination of maintenance works. This included ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards, managing the integration of advanced technical systems, and maintaining the building’s architectural integrity throughout the process.

The project stands as a testament to the delicate balance of modernising a heritage-sensitive building while addressing the evolving demands of contemporary workspaces. It reflects a thoughtful approach to adaptive reuse, where historical significance meets cutting-edge innovation.
